NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION: THURSDAY AUGUST 17, 7 PM 
All students and families who are new to Albemarle High School are invited
to attend New Student Orientation.  There will be a brief presentation
starting at 7pm in the Auditorium, followed by tours of the school by our
Patriot Partners students.  Teachers will be available in their rooms for
the new students to meet.

AHS CHEERLEADERS CARWASH FUNDRAISER: Saturday Aug 19, 9:30am-2:30pm at Sam's
Club

The AHS Cheerleaders will be having a fundraising car wash at Sam's Club on
Saturday August 19th from 9:30am to 2:30 pm.  Come out and have your car
washed and support your Patriot cheerleaders!  Donations will be accepted.
Proceeds will go towards new uniforms.

 

FIRST PTSO MEETING: THURSDAY AUGUST 31 7PM IN THE MEDIA CENTER

Please Note Change of Date 

Due to Back to School Night on Thursday September 7, the first AHS PTSO
meeting will be held on Thursday August 31 at 7pm in the Media Center.  Our
meetings are usually held on the FIRST THURSDAYS OF THE MONTH at 7pm.  The
agenda will include a discussion & planning of upcoming PTSO events for the
2006-07 school year.  Please join us and share your ideas!

 

STUDENT & BOOSTERS ORGANIZATION LEADERS: PLEASE SHARE YOUR INFO WITH US!

The AHS PTSO would like to compile a list of all Student Organizations along
with a Contact Person List.  This information will be shared with
parents/students who are inquiring about AHS organizations

 

If you are the leader/ sponsor/ coordinator/ "head honcho" of ANY student
organization or Booster Organization, please email us with the name of your
organization and your contact information.  Also, if your organization has a
Student Leader, please inform us of that name and contact info as well (as
soon as you obtain their consent to release that info).  .

 

Also, please keep us informed throughout the year about the happenings of
your group.  This includes information about fundraisers, events in which
your group will be participating, awards that our students & staff have
received, etc.  Help to keep all of us informed by sharing your AHS news
with us! 

Please send AHS-related information that you would like to share with the
"AHS Family" to Carol Saller at saller at adelphia.net .
