WELCOME.OR WELCOME BACK, AHS PATRIOTS! 

For those of you who are new to Albemarle High School.WELCOME!  And for all
of our "returning families".WELCOME BACK!

There are always changes happening at AHS, and this year is no exception.
To keep up with the changes, there are many good resources on the AHS

to your 'Favorites".  Please be patient with updates, as our Website
Coordinator is also an AHS teacher, and very busy with many things in
addition to the website.   Some of the web pages will also be coordinated by
students, so may not be updated for a week or so.   As the school year gets
into gear, the following links will be especially helpful to you:

LAST CHANCE FOR LIFETOUCH STUDIOS SENIOR CLASS PORTRAITS: AUGUST 24 & 25 AT
AHS 



SENIORS WHO DID NOT HAVE THEIR PORTRAITS TAKEN BY LIFETOUCH IN THE SUMMER,
THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!

The Lifetouch Studios photographers will return on Thursday, August 24 and
Friday, August 25 from 8:00an until 4:00pm to do pictures of students who
missed with summer shoot or who want retakes. They will be prepared to do
the full range of indoor and outdoor pictures.

 

THERE WILL BE A SIGN-UP SHEET POSTED IN THE FRONT OF THE CAFETERIA,
STARTIING THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. 

Senior students need to sign up at that time.  If you would like to receive
proofs mailed to your home, there will be a $10 sitting fee.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL SENIORS NEED TO HAVE THEIR PORTRAIT TAKEN BY LIFETOUCH FOR
AHS STUDENT I.D.  

You may submit portraits taken by other photographers for the yearbook.
Senior pictures must be submitted BY SEPTEMBER 15.

AUGUST 30TH: GRAND OPENING OF "THE PATRIOT PLACE": AHS's SCHOOL STORE! 

For the first time in many years, AHS will be having a school store!  The
store will be sponsored and run by DECA (Marketing) students.  Come out and
get your supplies here!  See our ad on the AHS Website Homepage!

WHAT: The Patriot Place, AHS School Store

WHERE:  Located on the AHS BREEZEWAY

WHEN:  GRAND OPENING: AUGUST 30! Open Before School (8-8:45am) on RED DAYS
and M-TH during 8th Period.  Closed most Fridays.

WHAT DOES IT SELL?: AHS clothing, supplies, accessories, spirit items &
gifts.  Also School Supplies.
