SENIOR DUAL ENROLLMENT PVCC GOVERNMENT & ENGLISH STUDENTS-USED TEXTBOOK INFO
FYI: This year's Dual Enrollment PVCC Government and English classes are
using the same textbooks that were used by the 2005-06 AHS students last
year. If you know of students who took either of these courses last year,
you may wish to contact them to purchase these textbooks from them. When
purchased new at PVCC Bookstore, GOVERNMENT BOOK: "American Government:
Continuity and Change" (2006 Edition) price is $114.75; ENGLISH BOOKS:
"Everyday Writer" is $51.00 and "The Sundance Reader" is $57.75. Please
note the editions and ISBN numbers of all texts (given to students by their
teachers) prior to purchasing any used book. Also, all books (new or used)
must be purchased by the deadline date assigned by the teachers.
Please do NOT contact Mr. Hankins (Govt), or Ms. Savage & Ms. Pavlo
(English) to inquire about used books. Any purchase of used books will need
to be arranged directly between students and/or families. A phone call to a
2006 AHS Graduate may save you some money!
