The 3rd annual Spring Beautification Day is scheduled for Saturday Morning, April 19, from 8am to 11am (rain date is April 26).

All Patriot Community members are invited to help spruce up the AHS grounds.

We need to move 50 large azaleas before they are destroyed by construction in June.  In addition to moving plants we will pull a few weeds, prune shrubs and spread lots of mulch.

Bring gardening tools such as gloves, large shovels for digging, clippers and wheelbarrows.  We will supply cold drinks, trash bags and a tractor for heavy lifting and moving.  We appreciate your support as we get ready for construction!

If you have any questions please contact Leigh Surdukowski = lsurdukowski at k12albemarle.org

SRO NOTES:

Law Review  (new 03/31/08)

Speeding in a work zone can result in higher penalties and possible jail time. This is due to the dangers that the workers are in while working on utilities or on the road.

If you see ahead police or other emergency vehicles on either shoulder of the road, you are required to move to the opposite lane to traffic away from these vehicles and personal as soon as safely possible.
