set up that afternoon, and working during the school days for a week, then

*Kid Pan Alley*

The Kid Pan Alley residency at Red Hill will be next week, November
14-18. Terri
Allard and Paul Reisler will be working with students in grades 1-5 to
write song lyrics and then set them to music. These new songs will be
performed during the KPA Concert on Friday, November 18th, following Math
Night. Math Night will be 6:00-6:45 pm and the Kid Pan Alley Concert will
be 7:00-8:00 pm.****

 ****

A few parent volunteers are needed during the residency week. Help is
needed in the classroom with typing lyrics and photography (one volunteer
per task). It's a great opportunity for parents to see the program in
action. While the concerts are always fantastic, watching the kids during
the writing process is the best! Each session is 45 minutes in length and
most parents like to volunteer during their child's session. While help is
welcomed during any of the sessions, the days help will be needed the most
will be Tuesday morning and on Friday. ****

 ****

For the Friday concerts, a volunteer is needed to scroll the lyrics during
the performances and two volunteers are needed at the CD/t-shirt table
during the evening concert. Photographers are needed at the concerts as
well. ****

 ****

Last, but not least, volunteers are needed to help print and fold the lyric
program on Friday. ****

If you would like to help in any of these capacities, please contact Carmen
Trimble at ctrimble at esinet.net . Thanks!****
