[RRC] LTS and reserving club boats

RRC's Learn to Scull (LTS) beginners' class, coached by Keith Williams, 
started today, July 9. The class will run for 4 weeks on Mon/Wed/Fri, 6;30-8:30 
a.m. through August 3. Club programs take priority over indvidual use of club 
sculling boats for the duration of the class. Class numbers are still in flux, 
but they'll be using various combinations of the quad, the club 2Xs and 1Xs. 
Keith will reserve the boats he expects to use, but with unpredictable 
attendance, he's never exactly sure which boats he'll need until the morning of.

So, Keith says the simplest thing is if he hasn't claimed a boat for LTS by 
6:45 a.m. on Mon/Wed/Fri, it's available for use by anyone else.

This year, RRC extended its LTS beginners' class from 8 sessions to 12 to try 
to give new scullers more coached time on the water before they are eligible 
to take a captain's test.
