RRC Mid-Season Boat & Oar Wash Down

Saturday July 14th 

 

Club members are encouraged to join in for the washing of the club sweep and
scull boats and oars this Saturday, July 14th.

 

Wash Down Game Plan:

 

The LTR rowers will wash down their 8+ boat and oars upon their return to
the dock that morning.

 

The Novice rowers will wash down their two 8+ boats and oars upon their
return to the dock that morning.

 

The Advance sweep rowers will wash down the remaining 8+ boats in the
boathouse that are not being used by the LTR or Novice groups upon their
return to the dock that morning. We will also need to wash down the
remaining oars, 4+, quad and sculling boats.

 

This invitation is also for scullers and sweep rowers not rowing Saturday
morning. We can use everyone’s help, so please come out and lend a hand. The
initial wash down activities will start around 8:45AM when the advance sweep
rowers return to the dock.

 

Please bring buckets, soap, sponges and towels. We will be set up for the
wash down on the lower tarmac near the water faucet.
