To all sweep rowers:

Please pay attention to the weight limits in the Brenda Myers. It is a
mediumweight boat. The green tag on the rack lists maximum weight per rower as 170
lbs. This is weight per seat, not an average weight of all 4 rowers. Even if
you have 3 sub-170s and 1 heavier rower, you still should row the Helen-T.

The Helen-T is missing some nuts, washers and spacers. Wye rowers discovered
missing parts from the Mamas & Papas and the Plott when they derigged for Wye.
We could find no spares, so we borrowed some from the Helen-T, which we
returned to the original boats when we got back. That left the Helen-T still
missing some pieces.

Gary is ordering new spacers and hopefully wing nuts.

I went to the hardware store this morning and bought 2 doz stainless steel
nuts and washers. I will leave them on the sweep desk (the one with the blue
striped table cloth) tomorrow morning. I will replace what I can see is missing.
But when anyone rows the Helen-T, check all the hardware and please fill in
anything missing.

All rowers should pay attention to weight limits on all the boats. If
anyone's in doubt of what they're currently weighing, there's a scale back near the
bathrooms.

Thanks.

Mary
