[RRC] TWO important matters

To the members:

First - please remember that the Spring Members Meeting will happen 
at the boathouse on Sunday April 20 at 4 pm.  Come out, see your 
friends, and learn about our great programs on the water this year. 
Newcomers (whether a member or not) will receive a warm welcome.  You 
can go to the RRC website -- rivannarowing.org -- for an advance look 
at the programs.  For the truly motivated, we will accept 
registration forms, waivers, and checks at the meeting.


Second - RRC has 5 key marketing events upcoming:

We go to Fridays After Five on the Downtown Mall on four occasions 
this Spring, with a single and marketing materials.  This really 
helps attract newcomers to our programs.

We run a Learn to Row day event on Saturday May 10 at the boathouse, 
in two sessions, 11 to 1 pm and 1 to 3 pm.

We depend upon volunteers for these key efforts, and many folks have 
already volunteered to help out.  BUT WE NEED SOME MORE HELP.

Please look over the attachment that comes with this message.  We 
specifically need chiefs for two dates on Fridays after Five, and we 
need more helpers for LTR day.

If you can help, write a private e mail back to me, specifying what 
you can do and when.  For LTR day, please specific your chosen 
contribution/job and which session you can cover.   I will then add 
that info to the document -- and resend it to the volunteers for each 
event.
