Kit was 2nd (behind a 17-year old phenom--younger than my grandson) but 
ahead of two other young guys, including one who flipped at the 500 
meter mark, causing the referee's boat to stop to assist and thus missed 
the actual timing of my event.
 
In case you didn't notice, heats were not grouped by age or with 
handicaps--organizers just tried to consider the timing of  other events 
a rower might be in.
