[RRC] RRC Photo Gallery - Overview

Hi Again,

I spent a lot of time revamping the RRC photos.

The new gallery is found off a tab on the main web page - 
http://rivannarowing.org/



You get the main page organized by photographer /submitter.

Click on an album or sub-album to view the contents.

If you click on a thumbnail, the picture will be dynamically sized for 
your computer's screen.  Click on the picture it will then be displayed 
full size.

Some galleries are multiple pages, click on the page numbers at the 
bottom to advance along.

To navigate back up a directory, just click the gallery or album 
buttons, depending on where you want to go:



One of the really cool things about the software is that it has a 
"slideshow" feature.  You can specify how long each picture is displayed 
for and you can pause the slideshow while it runs.



Don't be shy about asking questions about how the Gallery works.

Each album is protected by a username and password.  The only people 
that can modify pictures in an album or their captions are me {as the 
administrator} or the album owner.  But anyone can look at the pictures.

And of course the burning question...

*How do I get my pictures up on the web page?*

1)  If there are just a few, e-mail them to me, please do NOT resize 
them.  Mike.Hatz at BlackCat.com

2)  If there are a bunch of pictures or a CD's worth, please burn a CD, 
send me an e-mail and leave your CD at the boathouse on the table near 
the sweep Popsicle sticks and I'll grab it the next time I am at the 
boathouse.  I'll  upload them for you and create an album or sub-album 
that you can go into and edit the captions on, so they are more 
interesting than "DSC_0001".  :-)
