WHAT: RRC Coxswain Clinic

 

WHEN:  This Saturday, June 21st at 9:00am

 

WHO: Anyone who is new to coxing who needs formal training.  Anyone who
wishes to brush up on their coxing skills.  Anyone who wishes to share their
knowledge and experiences with the newer or less experienced coxswains!

 

WHERE:  The boathouse.  As it may be hot and/or some folks will be
post-practice and hungry, after covering as much as we can at the
boathouse/dock, we may relocate to a cooler venue with food for more
questions/answers.

 

WHY: Well-trained coxswains = safety of the rowers & equipment + knowledge
on how to be of use to your rowers (& coach) on the water (and perhaps on
land) + motivating your crew during a race!

 

Attached to this message you will find a Coxswain Handbook.  Feel free to
share the information with anyone who might be interested in coxing and
invite them to the clinic!  Thanks!
