RIVANNA RIVER 

CLEAN-UP

 

SEPTEMBER 20, 2008

This is large effort to clean-up the Rivanna from the South Fork Rivanna
Reservoir all the way to where the Rivanna meets the James in Columbia There
are eight segments to choose from. (Rain date will be Sunday, September 21.)

Reas Ford Road Bridge (on Reas Ford Road, meet at gravel pull off)

South Fork Rivanna Reservoir (meet at Magruder Dent Rowing Center floating
dock) - Will Cockrell, an RRC member, is the crew leader

Darden Towe Park (meet in parking lot)

Free Bridge (intersection of Rt. 250 and High St. meet in Auto Zone parking
lot)

Riverview Park (meet in parking lot)

Crofton - Palmyra (meet at Crofton boat launch Rt. 600 near Lake Monticello)

Fluvanna County Heritage Trail 

Columbia Boat Landing (meet at DGIF boat launch, Rt.690)
