[SchoolMatters] New Redistricting Policy Draft Available

This message is not an official communication of the Albemarle County School
Board. It is a private, e-mail-only newsletter written by Brian Wheeler,

In response to feedback at the December 8, 2005 School Board meeting, staff
have made further revisions to Policy FB which covers Facilities Planning
and Redistricting.  This draft was distributed to the School Board in late
December and I have made a copy available on my website.

The School Board plans to take action approving a new version of this policy
in January 2006.  While the agendas for our January meetings have not been
published, I expect this to be an information item January 12th and an
action item January 26th.  If you have any feedback on the latest version,
please feel free to send me your thoughts.  You can reach the entire School
Board using schoolboard at k12albemarle.org .
