School Supply Boxes


Forms to order school supply boxes are due in by the last day of school.
This is not a fundraiser but simply a time saving measure for you.  Call
Angie Mooney if you have any questions at 977-3474.


Hillsboro Youth Center Fundraiser


The Hillsboro Baptist Church is endeavoring to open a youth center for all
youth from rising 6th graders through high school in our community.  The
goal is to open the “The Zone” when school opens in the fall.  The purpose
of The Zone is to provide a safe, loving environment for teens in the
community to hang out after school.  Recognizing that teens need fellowship
and encouragement from each other and that the best way to reach kids is
through kids.  They are hoping to provide peer-to-peer tutoring as well as
tutoring from volunteers.  To raise funds for the renovations to the
building, they are holding a fundraiser this Saturday, June 10th from 2:30
to 9:00 P.M. at the church that is located at 6356 Hillsboro Lane in Crozet.
There will be water gun fights with colored water (wear a white t-shirt),
ultimate Frisbee, dodge ball with water balloons, hamburgers and hot dogs,
and a bonfire to burn your school work!  The cost is $10.  Questions?
