Cub Scout Veteran’s Day Spaghetti Dinner
Come celebrate Veteran’s Day with the Cub Scouts tonight.  Pack 141 will be
hosting their 2nd Annual Veteran’s Day Spaghetti Dinner in the SRE cafeteria
from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  There will be patriotic crafts for the kids, door
prizes and a presentation by local veterans.  The cost is $5 for adults and
$2.50 for children 5 and up.  All veterans will be guests of Pack 141 and
therefore, will not be charged. Please join us as we honor our Vets!


Book Fair

Stone-Robinson’s Scholastic Book Fair will be held November 16, 17, 20 & 21.
Parents and friends are welcome to visit the Book Fair during the school
day, after school and on Monday evening when we have extended hours.  All
profits from the fair will be used to purchase new books for our library.
The hours for the fair are listed below:
Thursday, November 16            8:00-3:00
Friday, November 17              8:00-3:00
Monday, November 20            8:00-8:00
Tuesday, November 21            8:00-12:00


VIP Day

VIP Day is scheduled for November 21.  Grades K-2 VIPs will meet in the
classroom from 8:30-9:15 in the classroom and are also invited to enjoy
music and refreshments in the gym beginning at 8:00 A.M.   Grade 3-5 VIPs
will meet in the classrooms from 9:30-10:15 and also invited to refreshments
and music beginning at 9:15 in the gym.


SRE Enrichment

If you would like to teach an enrichment program in the winter or spring
session, please let Missy Cruz know as soon as possible.  If you are
considering teaching, but would like to discuss details please email or call

UVA Saturday Enrichment Program

The Curry School of Education at UVA offers a Saturday enrichment program
for students in K-5.  Students can work in an area of interest and be put
with other students with similar interests and abilities.  Your child does
not have to be identified as gifted for this program but he/she does need a
teacher recommendation.  This is a first come, first serve opportunity so
act quickly if you are interested.  Visit their website
