Parking Reminder

Please do not park in the front bus loading area between the hours of
7:45-8:15 A.M. and 1:45-2:45 P.M.  This allows our buses to transport our
children safely and timely.  Thank you for your cooperation!

 

UVA Saturday Enrichment Program 

The Curry School of Education at UVA offers a Saturday enrichment program
for students in K-5.  Students can work in an area of interest and be put
with other students with similar interests and abilities.  Your child does
not have to be identified as gifted for this program but he/she does need a
teacher recommendation.  This is a first come, first serve opportunity so
act quickly if you are interested.  Visit their website

Jefferson Youth Theater

It's not too late to be a part of Beauty and the Beast!  All children are
given roles so if your child is interested, contact Sash Noble at
Snoble20268 at msn.com <mailto:Snoble20268 at msn.com> .  Rehearsals will begin in
late November after school and the performances will be on December 9 and
10.  The cost is $80 per child/$70 for any additional children.
Scholarships are available. 

 

SRE Yearbook

After several years of amazing work on the yearbook, Cydney Simko will be
leaving Stone-Robinson after this year.  So if you have an interest in
photography or are at many of the school's events and could take pictures,
let Cydney know and she can show you the ropes.  Send her an email at

emailing her any photos of school events that you take as the year
progresses. 

 

PTO Meeting Tuesday, October 17

Join us for our next PTO meeting on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:00 P.M.  The
third grade will be performing "Did You Know?" and there will also be a
performance by the 5th grade chorus and recorder club.
