CiCi's Night Tonight!!!

Leave those pots and pans in the cabinet and come out tonight to CiCi's
Pizza to support Stone-Robinson.  Just put your receipt in the bucket marked
Stone-Robinson near the registers.  

 

Budget Information Session

Learn more about the school superintendent's budget and how it supports the
children in the Southern Feeder Pattern by attending an informational
meeting on Wednesday, February 21 from 7-8:00 P.M. at Walton Middle School. 

 

Burley Expo Night

Burley Middle School will be holding its Expo Night on Tuesday, February 27.
This event is designed to provide Burley students (and prospective students)
and their families an opportunity to explore all that the school community
has to offer.  Tour the school, meet teachers, enjoy a spaghetti dinner ($5
adults, $3 children), choral performances and more. The evening begins at
5:00 P.M. and will end at 8:15 P.M. 

 

Golden Apple Awards

Nominations are being taken for the 7th Annual Golden Apple Awards for
outstanding teachers in our area.  These awards are presented to faculty
members from the public and private schools in Albemarle County and the City
of Charlottesville, including CATEC. The deadline for nominations is March
1. One candidate is selected to represent their school and receives a golden
apple as well as gift certificates from local businesses.  As a "Golden
Apple" teacher, each candidate is then eligible to receive a Golden Apple
Grant worth $1000.  Nomination forms are available at the school on Margaret

Snow Make-Up Days

The current snow make-up days are February 20, March 22, June 7, 8 and 11. 

 

Skate Night

The next one is March 9.  Please remember that we would appreciate your
donation of any used helmets and skates.  Girl Scout cookies will be sold
this night, too. 

 

KidVention

The Virginia Discovery Museum, Lite Rock Z95.1 and WVPT are sponsoring
KidVention on Saturday, March 31.  This family event will focus on safety
and wellness this year with exhibits featuring exercise, nutrition and
dental tips as well as bicycle and automobile safety.   This event will take
place from 10:00 - 2:00 at the Charlottesville High School gym. 

 

2007-08 PTO Board

We are beginning to think about next year's PTO board.  Since several of the
current board members will be leaving the school, we need to fill some
