2007-08 PTO Board

 

Albemarle County Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Parent Council and the Albemarle County School Board is requesting that
parents attend the March 7 public hearing of the Albemarle County Board of
Supervisors to support or comment on the requested school board budget.
Their will be several unfunded items if the full budget request is not
approved.  Further information about the proposed budget can be found at
www.k12albemarle.org <http://www.k12albemarle.org/> . The meeting will be
held beginning at 6:00 P.M. at Lane Auditorium in the Albemarle County
Office Building on McIntire Road. 

 

Skate Night 

Bring the whole family to the next SRE skate night this Friday from 6:30 -
8:30.  The cost is $1 per skater and $.50 for rentals.  Every skater must
wear a helmet!  

 

Wigs for Kids

A first grader at Stone-Robinson has been growing her hair for years in
order to donate it to Wigs for Kids.  Wouldn't it be great if the SRE
community could support this wonderful organization and the generosity of
one of our own students?  If you are interested in helping with a donation
of hair or money or want further information, please contact Kristi Thomas
at kthomas0808 at hotmail.com. 

 

CiCi's Night

Tuesday, March 20 is the next one

 

KidVention

The Virginia Discovery Museum, Lite Rock Z95.1 and WVPT are sponsoring
KidVention on Saturday, March 31.  This family event will focus on safety
and wellness this year with exhibits featuring exercise, nutrition and
dental tips as well as bicycle and automobile safety.   This event will take
place from 10:00 - 2:00 at the Charlottesville High School gym. 

 

 

2007-08 PTO Board

We are beginning to think about next year's PTO board.  Since several of the
current board members will be leaving the school, we need to fill some
