I kow many of you only have elementary and middle school age students. However, is you know someone who could benefit from this, please inform them.

Super Saturday

Saturday, February 4

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

At Albemarle High School

Super Saturday, sponsored by the Virginia Associate of Student Financial Aid
Administrators, UVa, and PVCC, will provide students and parents an
opportunity to learn more about college financial aid.  At this event
students and parents will be able to:

·         Attend "The Basics of Financial Aid" presentations at 10:00 a.m.
and 12:30 p.m.;

·         Submit their FAFSA online while financial aid counselors are
available to help;

·         Meet one-on-one with a financial aid counselor to ask questions
and get advice; and

·         Enter to win two book scholarships!

This general financial aid event is open to all individuals interested in
pursuing post-secondary education. High school students are encouraged to
bring their parents.  Please note that all students are welcome - whether or
not they plan to attend UVa or PVCC and regardless of age.  Even if college
is three years away for some students, it is not too early for them to learn
about financial aid.
