The final collection for Campbell Soup Labels will be tomorrow, Friday,
26-May-2006.  The label collection point is in the main hallway of the
school near the teacher mail boxes.

 

Dave Cushman will be sending out some important dates and times for
parents to remember as we close out the school year.

 

Reminder: End of School Picnic-Fun Run will be held at 3:00pm on June
3rd at the Ruritan. If you plan to run, please contact Paige Watts at
wattey at earthlink.net. The PTO and Ruritan will take care of meat, buns
and drinks for the event. The Ruritan members will cook.  Potluck will
provided based on the assignments below. Please contact Aimie Keenan if
you have any questions about food at dowat at earthlink.net .

 

K-1st Grade                    Dessert

2nd and 3rd Grade          Vegetable Side

4th and 5th Grade          Chips-Dip/ ?

 

Many of you know that Denise and I will be leaving the PTO Board this
year as Cory makes his transition to join his older brother at Burley.
We both have been very happy help out at the school and will miss dearly
the ties we have made with teachers, staff, students and parents. You
are all a very special community that we would love to always carry with
us where ever we may go in our hearts. We will look back on our time
with Stony Point Elementary and a very happy time in the development of
our sons lives. We can never thank you enough for your encouragement,
support and most importantly your friendship. We plan to try to stay
connect with the school in a few projects but please call us if we can
assist you in any manner.

 

If any of you may be interested in working on the board, please contact
Dave Cushman. This is an excellent opportunity for you to volunteer and
work with an important organization in your son and/or daughters growing
up.  I will keep sending out the communications until someone steps up
to take over. It is not difficult and most of the time I am just
forwarding information to the list-serv from sources you as parents
should already be using.
