Welcome Back! I hope you have all had a good summer. The 2007-2008 PTO is busy getting ready for a spectacular school year. The funds earned by PTO help to support the school in a number of ways including field trips, teacher stipends, supplies and events. Below is a list of the board members and committee chairs for this school year. We are so thankful for their hard work and dedication to Stony Point. Remember:

 Cici’s Pizza Night! Thursday, September 20 – Stony Point’s Cici’s Pizza Night for the 2007-2008 school year is the third Thursday of each month.  Enjoy all-you-can eat pizza, pasta, salad, and desert buffet and drop your receipt in the designated box before you leave.  Stony Point receives 10 percent of total proceeds from collected receipts!  What an easy way to enjoy time with family and support our school.
 
 
 Attraction Book Sale – There is lots of buzz on these great coupon books! Many people say they pay for themselves in no time. Look for money saving coupons to area restaurants and retailers. The coupon books will come home with students on the 21st.  
 
 
 Junior Jazzercise – Junior Jazzercise will be held at Stony Point again! Look for sign up sheets in the Friday Folders.
 
 
 Mr.Carey Fund – Stony Point’s custodian for over thirty years is retiring August 31, 2007.  Mr. Carey has positively impacted the education of countless children who have been part of the Stony Point School community during his tenure. Everyone knows him for his quiet kind ways and the personal pride he takes in keeping Stony Point School’s grounds and building in pristine condition.  
   Because of Mr. Carey’s tireless efforts through cafeteria responsibilities (approximately 16,200 lunches), Stony Point Carnivals and Auctions, PTO meetings, packing up and moving classrooms during the summers, cleaning up after kids and adults, ETC
 we want to make sure his departure is done with appropriate honor and fanfare!  Therefore, please help us honor Mr. Norman Carey with your cards of good wishes and donations to a PTO fund that will provide him with (we hope) a very SIGNIFICANT cash gift at a reception to be held for him this fall (date to be determined). Card and donations may be sent to:
