Chorus & Band Winter Concert
Thursday, Dec. 7th at 7:00 pm
With fund raising Before-and-After Concert Party 



Dear Band and Chorus Parents!!
 


As we prepare for our Chorus & Band Winter Concert next Thursday, Dec.
7th at 7:00 pm, we want to invite all our parents and friends to join us
at the concert. The students in both the chorus and band departments
have been working hard to make this a wonderful, musical event. To make
it even nicer, we will want to offer refreshments before and after the
concert in the cafeteria.
 

We will be having a fund-raising BEFORE-AND-AFTER CONCERT PARTY with
food and drinks in the cafeteria to raise money for the band and chorus.
We are asking each family to donate baked goods, snacks, or drinks for
us to sell. 

WE NEED LOTS OF FOOD AND DRINK DONATIONS AS WELL AS PARENT VOLUNTEERS!

Please bring all donations to the school office by the end of the school
day on Thursday afternoon or with you to the concert in the evening. If
you can help us with the set-up up on Thursday, Dec.7th at 5:30pm,
please email Ms. Whitmore at jwhitmore at k12albemarle.org by Wednesday,
Dec.6th
 

When you drop your children off at the school on Thursday evening
between 6:00-7:00 pm, they will be busy warming up and getting ready for
the concert. You will have an hour to relax, eat and get to know the
other chorus and band families. We hope you all will be able to take a
little break in these hectic days before the holidays and enjoy some
nice time together with families and friends, old and new. Please come,
buy refreshments and support your great musical children here at
Sutherland. After the concert we want to give the children the same
chance to socialize and enjoy their own "CAST PARTY". The refreshments
will be for everyone after the performance. 
   
Remember, both our band and chorus departments will soon be ordering our
new scores and music for the spring concerts, fund raising and preparing
for our various festivals trips and performances. We do indeed need the
help and support from our parents and community.
