Dear Sutherland families,

 

I received notice from a parent today that several students have been
sharing information about a website that allows access to some very
explicit pornographic material.  While we think that parents of students
we know have been involved have been notified, we are not certain that
we know everyone who may have received information about the site.  The
site itself is called "freeviewmovies.com." The site itself is blocked
from access on Albemarle County computers, but unless you have a filter
on your home computers, your children may have access.  The name of the
site looks safe enough, but I thought you should be alerted to the
unlimited span of material available in case you see your child is
accessing that site.
