[SutherlandMatters] Orchestra Performance

The AHS, JJMS, SMS orchestras just returned from the Myrtle Beach
Fiesta-Val Competition trip with 6 trophies and all the students and
chaperones we left with!  

Both the AHS String Ensemble and the AHS, JJMS, SMS Combined Orchestra
received 1st place in their divisions.  

The Combined Orchestra won the Champion Trophy for the highest score
over all attending orchestras regardless of division. 

The 1st violin section from the Combined Orchestra won Best String
Section. 

Two soloists won awards for their solos in the AHS String Ensemble - Kim
Duvall and Lisa Zhang. 

I am super proud of everyone for wonderful performances and a great
trip.

7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25.
