[SutherlandMatters] PTO Organizational Meeting, 8/19

The Sutherland PTO would like to welcome all new and returning students
and parents to the new school year! We encourage each and every parent
to come out and get involved in the school community. Working together,
we can enrich the middle school experience for all our students here at
Sutherland.

In pursuit of that goal, we would like to take this opportunity to
invite all parents to a PTO organizational meeting on Sunday evening,
August 19th at 7pm in the Media Center. At that time, decisions will
need to be made regarding leadership of the PTO for the upcoming school
year and subsequent committee chairpersons, and the development of a
calendar of events. Please come share your ideas and suggestions for
leadership and group initiatives as we enter into the second year of the
PTO reorganization. If you are unable to attend the meeting there are
still opportunities for you to express your areas of interest via the
volunteer flyer that will be distributed in the first day packet and
collected by the new PTO Board.
