Dear Sutherland Friends and Families,

 

►        Annual Sutherland Magazine Fundraiser continues until next Thursday, October 25.

►        School goal = $35,000 in sales which would result in Sutherland receiving $14,000 (40% of the total

sales).

►        Current sales = $11,000  We need to improve!

►        The monies raised are used by the PTO to purchase educational tools and materials needed to assist in

creating the most effective and creative learning experiences possible for our children.

►        On-line orders:

Yes!  We can place orders online.  Send an email to everyone in your address book

with this link      http://store.gafundraising.com <http://store.gafundraising.com/>    and these instructions:  Click on the link…type

in Sutherland’s code….493734  ….press go…..enter the student’s name to give a particular

student credit or bypass the student name entry by pressing submit and shop away.  A student

name is not necessary for shopping and Sutherland still receives the benefits.

►          Renewal clarification:

                        Please make sure everybody understands that customers can renew their current subscriptions

with us.  The new subscription will not begin until the old one has expired.  They must check the

“renewal” box on the order form to ensure this.  The customer saves money (our subscriptions

are cheaper) and Sutherland earns 40% of the cost.

►        Participation & Prizes:

We are only at 18% participation so far.  If prizes are a motivating factor, then

let your child know that the prize list has been adjusted.  If a student has a total of 6 orders,

regardless of which day(s) the orders were turned in, he/she earns the Magic Show and if a total

of 12 orders are turned in, then the limo lunch is earned, too.  Some students have submitted 2 or

3 orders, so the Magic Show is within reach!

►        Idea:

                        Ask your hairdresser, doctor, dentist, chiropractor, therapist, whoever has a waiting area with magazines if they will renew their magazines with Sutherland.

►        Forms:

                        Extra magazine brochures, order forms, money envelopes, etc are in the Sutherland office.
