[SutherlandMatters] Invitation from Dr. Moran to Participate in Albemarle County Schools Resource Utilization Study

Dear Albemarle County Public Schools Parents and Guardians, 

 

The Albemarle County School Board has contracted with the Commonwealth
Educational Policy Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University to
complete a study of how well the School Division uses its financial,
staff and capital resources to support student achievement. Part of this
process includes the opportunity for parents, staff members and members
of our community to discuss their views on this matter.

 

Two opportunities for parents to discuss this study and their thoughts
on how we use our resources have been arranged as follows:

 

Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007

6 to 7 p.m. 

Cale Elementary School Cafeteria

1757 Avon Street Extended in Charlottesville

 

OR

 

Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007

6 to 7 p.m. 

Sutherland Middle School Cafeteria 

2801 Powell Creek Drive in Charlottesville 

 

I hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to tell the
consultants what you think. The results of this study will be used by
the School Board to guide its decision making in budgeting and
allocating resources in the future. Thanks for you consideration in
