[SutherlandMatters] PTO Volunteers Needed

Many thanks to all of the parents who helped out as chaperones at our
first dance of the year earlier this month. The dance was an
overwhelming success thanks, in part, to your efforts. We also
appreciate the time that numerous parents took to fill out the volunteer
database sheets distributed in the first day packets. We are assembling
a database to match names to volunteer opportunities. We are pleased to
report that Suzette Buck has stepped up to be Volunteer Coordinator and
will be in contact with many of you, once the database is ready, to fill
various volunteer opportunities in the school this year. Thanks,
Suzette, for taking on this huge job!

 

In the meantime, we have several volunteer openings for the next week
that we are hoping to fill at this time. If you can help out in any of
the following areas please get in touch with Gayle Rainey at
grainey at k12albemarle. org. 

 

1. 4 parents to set up and sell PTO concessions from 2- 4 pm during the
SURF activities outside this Friday 9/21

 

2. 4 to 8 parents to set up and sell ICA concessions from 2:45 till 3:15
in the grade level halls next Friday, 9/28
