[SutherlandMatters] New School Store from the PTO

Dear Sutherland Parents,

 

The Sutherland PTO is happy to announce the Grand Opening of The Shark
Shop your school supply store on Wednesday, January 16th at 8:30 a.m.
The store will sell pencils, pens, paper, highlighters, erasers,
sharpeners, other school supplies, and some kid-friendly novelty items.
Eventually we hope to sell Sutherland imprinted apparel such as
T-shirts, hats, mini nylon backpacks, etc.

 

 

Posters have been placed throughout the building advertising the store
and the staff tells us that the kids are very excited.  The PTO asks for
your support of the store and the PTO by allowing your children to
purchase some of their school supplies at The Shark Shop.  For the
school supplies prices will range between 10 cents and $1.50.  

 

School store hours are:

Monday and Wednesday 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. (in front of the school)

Tuesday and Thursday  12:12 - 2:00 p.m. (in the lunchroom)

     

The Shark Shop is an on-going fundraiser for the PTO and a convenient
place for the kids to purchase some of their school supplies.  Another
exciting feature of the store is that in the future Mr. Crow's 8th grade
business class will take over the everyday management of The Shark Shop
in an effort to gain first hand knowledge of running a business.  We are
very excited about the store and we believe this is a win/win/win
situation for the PTO, Mr. Crow's 8th grade business class, and all the
students at Sutherland Middle School.  Please join us with your support.
