[SutherlandMatters] Orchestra Honors!

The orchestra just returned from their trip to Boston where they
participated in the Heritage Festivals Competition.  

 

The combined 7th and 8th grade Concert Orchestra from Jouett and
Sutherland received a GOLD rating from the judges.

 

The 8th grade Sutherland Chamber Orchestra also received a GOLD rating
from the judges.  

 

In addition, this ensemble also received two trophies - the
Adjudicator's Award given to ensembles that receive a score above 95 and
the Overall Orchestra Award 

 

given to the highest scoring orchestra at the festival.  This ensemble
beat out other high school orchestras for this award! 

 

Congratulations to Mrs. Finnegan and our awesome student musicians!
