[SutherlandMatters] Message from the SCA

Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

            The 2007-2008 Sutherland Middle School Student Council
Association will be taking a follow-up to our community service field
trip on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.  The council will be visiting Greer
Elementary School again and working with the same class of 1st graders
we helped this winter.  Afterwards, the SCA will depart to have lunch
and take a brief tour of the UVA Rotunda.  We will all return to school
before the buses arrive.

 

            Each student council member is being asked to provide a
wrapped gift of a toy costing $10 or less for a child he/she will be
paired with at Greer.  In turn, the SCA will be providing a donation of
school supplies and treats on behalf of Sutherland to the facility and
children.  Each council member is also responsible for bringing money
for his/her lunch.

 

            Thank you so much for your support, and please remind your
son/daughter to return this permission slip to us by Thursday, May 22,
2008.
