            In this message:  Annual holiday wreath sale  &   Museum to be featured on radio show this Sunday

               
                  It's time to order your gorgeous holiday wreaths! If you are a Museum member, you receive a $3 discount - the cost is just $36.95 and the price includes shipping and tax. In addition, $10 per wreath is tax deductible and helps support the Museum.

                  This beautifully decorated, handmade, fresh balsam fir wreath will be shipped directly from Maine to anywhere in the continental U.S.  Celebrate the season and at the same time support the Museum's programs for children and their families.  You may order by mail, fax, online at www.vadm.org or at the Museum. 

                  For delivery before Thanksgiving, the order deadline is Nov. 1.
                  For delivery after Thanksgiving, the deadline is Nov. 16.

                  Tune into WNRN (91.9 on your FM dial) this Sunday, Oct. 14, from 11:00am - noon for "Sunday Morning Wake-up Call" hosted by Rick Moore and featuring the Virginia Discovery Museum for the entire hour! Peppy Linden, the Museum's Executive Director, and  Margie Rein, the Volunteer Coordinator, will talk about all aspects of the Museum and its programs. This is a great opportunity to learn more about this important central Virginia resource for families!

            HOURS:
            Tues-Sat 10:00-5:00 - Sun 1:00-5:00 - Closed Mondays 
            Closed the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Jan. 1 and Easter. We are open when schools are closed on Snow Days (except on Mondays)! Just call the Museum before heading out.

            ADMISSION:
            $4 per person, all ages (under 1 year old free) - Children must be accompanied by an adult - Museum Members: Free - ASTC and ACM Reciprocal Members: Free - $0.50 AAA discount per person with card - Handicapped accessible

            PARKING:
            2 hours free parking at Market Street Parking Garage (5th & Market) or Water Street Parking Garage (3rd & Water) - bring ticket to front desk for validation
