                  Party 1:  5:00 - 6:15pm 

                  Party 2:  6:30 - 7:45 pm


                  Suggested ages: 2-7

                  Children must be accompanied by an adult

                  Members: $6 per person  /  Nonmembers: $8 per person

                  Space is limited, pre-registration is required


                  Wear your costumes, have your face painted, and play Halloween games!

            Want something fun for your kids to do during teacher work days or while you are running errands?  Let them spend a fun-filled morning at the Virginia Discovery Museum learning about science, culture, or history.  Ahoy me matey!  Come aboard and learn about sailing vessels of days gone by, "meet" famous pirates, and find buried treasure!  We will make our own treasure maps, treasure chests, and go on a treasure hunt.

            Session 1:  Monday, November 5, Ages 4-6
            Session 2:  Tuesday, November 6, Ages 6-8

            9 am - 12 noon each day
            $25 members/$30 nonmembers
            Pre-registration required.

We will have fun trying to complete different challenges.

                  Tuesday, October 30
                  Gates open at 5pm and the game starts at 7pm
                  Klockner Stadium

                  Discounted Tickets for VDM Members:
                  With your Virginia Discovery Museum membership card you can get four $1 tickets to the UVa Men's Soccer game against Mercer, the last home game for the men's soccer team.  Not redeemable in advance, only at the Klockner ticket window on game-day.  Subject to availability.

                  Free with admission to the soccer game

            HOURS:
            Tues-Sat 10:00-5:00 - Sun 1:00-5:00 - Closed Mondays 
            Closed the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Jan. 1 and Easter. We are open when schools are closed on Snow Days (except on Mondays)! Just call the Museum before heading out.

            ADMISSION:
            $4 per person, all ages (under 1 year old free) - Children must be accompanied by an adult - Museum Members: Free - ASTC and ACM Reciprocal Members: Free - $0.50 AAA discount per person with card - Handicapped accessible

            PARKING:
            2 hours free parking at Market Street Parking Garage (5th & Market) or Water Street Parking Garage (3rd & Water) - bring ticket to front desk for validation
