            Benefit Concert with the Deedle Deedle Dees tonight at 5:30 at the Charlottesville Pavilion at the East end of the Downtown Mall. Great musical fun for the whole family! Suggested donation $5 per person/$20 per family.

                  Meet Me on Main Street, our new featured exhibit in the Back Gallery opens Saturday, 
                  September 23. Shop at the grocery store, sort mail in the post office and slide down the pole in the fire station! Kids will have a great time in this tiny town. 
                    


                 
                 The Virginia Discovery Museum is closed today, Friday, September 21, as part of our annual work week. We have been painting, cleaning and installing our new Back Gallery exhibit.             HOURS:
            Tues-Sat 10:00-5:00 - Sun 1:00-5:00 - Closed Mondays 
            Closed the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Jan. 1 and Easter. We are open when schools are closed on Snow Days (except on Mondays)! Just call the Museum before heading out.

            ADMISSION:
            $4 per person, all ages (under 1 year old free) - Children must be accompanied by an adult - Museum Members: Free - ASTC and ACM Reciprocal Members: Free - $0.50 AAA discount per person with card - Handicapped accessible

            PARKING:
            2 hours free parking at Market Street Parking Garage (5th & Market) or Water Street Parking Garage (3rd & Water) - bring ticket to front desk for validation
