April 11th:  8th graders visit Monticello High School
April 12th:  Pep Rally/Walton CELEBRATION  at 3:20pm to celebrate:
                 Walton community raising over $1,000 for a local family who suffered a fire in their home last month;
                 Walton students contributing over 1500 pennies for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
                 Walton Band placing FIRST at Festi-val in Williamsburg on March 30th!
                 Walton Girls Volleyball team, sponsored by Albemarle Parks & Rec. There is a match  at 5:00pm
                 at Burley.  There will be a "mini match" between students and teachers/staff!  Come see Mr Johnson  
                 serve!
April 18th:   Volleyball potluck
April 19th:  AVID (Advancement via individual determination for 8th graders)  fieldtrip to Bridgewater College and    
                 Black Friar's Playhouse
April 20th   Activity Period
April 25th   Celebrate Diversity Dinner at Walton  6:00-7:30
April 27th  7th grade Social Studies Field trip to Bedford, Va D-Day Memorial; 7th Grade Science trip to Richmond 
                Science Museum ;                              Dance 4:00-6:00.  Last Dance of the year for 6th and 7th grade

May 15:      Reading SOL6th and 7th graders
