Friday, Feb 9th is Walton's next school dance 4:00-6:00pm.  Carol Baber is looking for volunteers, especially with "Open Gym."


Also looking for help during activity period from 2:55-3:30 with concessions, Feb 16th




PTO fund-raiser:  Collecting Nestle Pure Life Water labels.  Please start saving Nestle Pure Life labels and deposit them in collection boxes in~2 weeks




All Month:  Guidance Counselors are meeting with every 8th grade student and his/her parents to discuss courses for next year.  If you haven't scheduled a meeting yet, please contact Karen Collier in the Guidance office (977-5615) to schedule a meeting during the month of February.  
Monday, Feb. 5
-MHS 9th Grade Orientation, 6:30 @ MHS

Wednesday, Feb. 7
-JROTC visits 8th grade lunch  (I saw students from MHS' JROTC this past Wed, so I'm not sure if they'll be back again.)

Thursday, Feb. 8
-Intelligence Squared, 4-5 pm in the amphitheater

Friday, Feb. 9
- School Dance (SCA), 4-6PM--tickets only $2 per person.  Signs say to wear read, pink, or white.
